COMPETITION in the local bottled water industry is bound to heat up when Pleass Beverages’ plans for a water plant in the Namosi highlands materialises next year.
Company chairman Warwick Pleass assured the South Pacific Stock Exchange yesterday that the company will continue with their expansions plan.
We continue with our expansion plans for a new water plant which will take the company to a new level, Mr Pleass said.
We have now completed acquisition of land at Namosi, totaling over 420 acres.
The new factory will be finishing around September 2010 and we estimate the costs of the project at $1.5million, he said.
